So, I moved to my winter habitat.
I found this place and negotiated my rent with my landord to include utilities, etc., and have the best landlord ever.
It has a great front room with windows going all around so I can see the world outside. Buutttttt, when it gets cold outside you need coverings on the windows to cut down on the draft. I don't like a lot of heat so I keep the place fairly cool.
The first couple of years I didn't have anything on the windows except the blinds because to move is just a pain and I didn't want to have to worry about curtain rods. I then got this brilliant idea. The top of the blinds have a bar that is open. So I bought some curtains to hang up and clothes pins to clip the curtains on the top of the blinds. It works. Clothespins do not take up a lot of space when moving and I don't have to worry about curtain rods and hardware to put the rods up.
So, if you ever need a quick way to hang up curtains, clothespins are the way to go.
