Here is my first entry for "Innovations Wednesday". These graphics were initially created in Microsoft Office 2007 and enhanced in Photoshop for the "Fancy" collection of my personal Copyright PowerPoint template. I started out using a basic square shape adding shadows and lighting until I obtained the desired effect.
Once I obtained the effect I was looking for I saved it as a *.png* and brought it up in Photoshop. Once in Photoshop I added coloring, lighting, textures, and more shadowing. If you look closely, you can see the three different shadow layers around the frame. I then added additional layes - my center logo, page logos, copyright info.
The radiating light you see was enhanced by the use of filtering tools in Photoshop and was done using the center logo. The final layers were then placed on the graphic - a signature back-overlay giving the graphic an even more textured look.
