I am making an apology to all of Newsvine for my behavior over the past few days. My column and commenting has been giving me a lot of trouble to the point of total frustration. I wrote an article yesterday about some of the issues I was having to let everyone know about it.
I also would like to apologize to anyone who received a comment with the signature of Pon and Grisham or any other signature in one of their articles.
Since I tend to visit Grisham's column rather frequently as he writes some very interesting articles and is easy to understand, I noticed one of his articles was having quite a bit of activity on it, some of it getting out of hand. Usually Grisham is on top of his column, so I thought since the article was getting out of control that someone should control it. We are talking about an article with 800+ comments in it. I decided to take control of it. Then I found out his father died, so I continued to control the article the best I could since Grisham still was not involved in it. Not thinking about it, I was using the signature of Pon and Grisham. Unfortunately, I continued to use this signature when I was outside of Grisham's article. Nothing was meant by it and the only excuse I have is stupidity. I do not feel I was out of hand attempting to control an article with so many comments and basically no one attending to it. Maybe it was a mistake on my part, but I was trying to help him out. There were some good comments in it that I thought probably should not be ignored.
Grisham, I apologize to you for attempting to control your article without your consent and for using your name with mine. There was nothing meant by it. Once in a while, I do things spontaneously without thinking about what the repercussions will be. I just do it. I was not trying to step on your toes; just trying to be helpful.
